It is based on distributed network in which a large network of servers are distributed in different locations to serve the data. It is also called as anytime anywhere services or pay as you go services.
Peak data rate
If the average time to connect with website increases with 30% or more than it is said to be in peak data rate.
Cloud computing architecture
In it data is stored in remote server and not in the device or in the app. the data can be obtained from the server using internet. Note : internet is the most important component of cloud computing .
Types of cloud computing
1. Private cloud
In it users are defined generally such cloud are based on pre payment system , eg icloud , antivirus , hotstar premium , etc.
2. Public cloud
Users are not defined in it . anybody can use it without any restriction and no payment is demanded eg whatspp , fb , etc
3. Hybrid cloud
It appears as public cloud but it behaves as a private cloud after sometime generally it is based on subscription eg netflix , amazon prime , etc
Types of cloud computing services
1. Infrastructure as a service (IAAS)
The infrastructure is available in a distributes network . It is not require to buy a infrastructure because it is available on rent or free of cost . eg cpu , cache memory , etc
2. Platform as a serice (PAAS)
These are the platform on which cloud computing application can work or can be developed . eg operating softwares , programming languages , etc
3. Software as a service (SAAS)
These are the application that can be used but cannot be modified or changed . It needs internet to operate.
Cloud computing and e governance
Government of india has launched many cloud computing based e governance program such as
- Unified mobile app for new age governance (UMANG app)
- Digital locker
- Meghraj
- National digital library (NDL)
- National academic depository (NAD)
